Whites and Blues

Tee (UK4) | ASOS Petite
Denim shorts (EUR32) | Mango (love this HW pair too!)
Denim jacket (L) | The Kooples via Robinsons
Bag | Whistles
Shoes | Kurt Geiger
Belt | Calvin Klein
Watch | Hugo Boss
Sunglasses | Super Sunglasses

I've never had so much white in an outfit before. That's literally the first thing that came into my mind when I went through the photos, and I was really not used to it. I've always felt blue and white go really well together (proven by all the blue and white striped tees I have) and I've always loved pairing blue denim jeans with white tops.
Once again, I threw on my fave blue denim jacket and I really wanted it to be the main piece in the outfit, so I (unconsciously) went with a white tee and white shorts. I rarely wear white bottoms because I'm just afraid of sitting on sauce or something, and ruining my white bottoms. Went with it anyway as it was just a quick lunch (indoors) and some grocery shopping (went home with several bottles of my fav dessert wine yaye)!

CAN I IRON THAT?

Silk-blend tee | H&M Conscious (almost identical here and here!)
Denim skirt | Zara Girls
Pleather vest | Feist Heist
Bag | Bally
Shoes | Tangs Studios
Watch | Nixon
Leather bracelet | Balenciaga
Sunglasses | Super Sunglasses

The OCD in me is annoyed by how creased the back of this pleather vest is. Can pleather even be ironed? I have no idea. Was afraid of ruining so I ended up leaving the house with all those creases on my back. Well at least I can't see them (without a mirror) when I'm wearing it!

Also, this silk blend tee has been making appearances on this space wayyy to many times - but that just shows how versatile it is! Definitely an investment piece worth every penny.

Stripes X Linen

Striped top | Giordano Ladies (Size 0)
Linen pencil skirt | ASOS Petite (UK2) (love this linen one with pockets too)
Bag | Givenchy
Heels | River Island
Sunglasses | Minkpink
Belt & necklace | Agnès B.

I'll admit - I have tons of striped items in my wardrobe, but this one has got to be one of my top 3 favourites. Firstly, the quality is amazing. I'm not sure if Giordano Ladies is affiliated to Giordano but they sure make really good quality garments (though kind of pricey for basics, around the same/higher price mark than COS). To me, white and navy stripes look way nicer than BNW stripes. Plus, this one has the pop of red (which I love)!

Got this linen pencil skirt some time back and it fits soooo well. It came slightly sheer (to me) and after wearing it several times, I recently decided that I need to have it altered slightly shorter and had a lining made under it. Since then, it's been so much more wearable and I wouldn't need to worry about walking under the bright sun and having my skirt being so sheer.

Tweed on Tweed

Black boatneck 3/4 sleeve top | ASOS Petite
Tweed skirt | Zipia
Tweed coat | Pull & Bear (similar here and I'm loving this tweed jacket too)
Plectrum necklace | Posh Totty Designs
Shoes | Zara
Sunglasses | Super Sunglasses

So.... when I'm not mixing and clashing textiles, I like to go all out and wear a matching set! This tweed skirt has been in my closet for at  least 5 years and it's still one of my favourite high waisted skirts. The fit is great (of course it has to be great, I had it specially tailored to fit me) and the fabric is still holding up pretty well. It isn't scratchy at all on the inside as it is lined and I think it makes my butt looks awesome haha. I personally think that because I'm petite, bodycon/formfitting apparel (skirts/dresses etc) in thicker fabrics look better on me as compared to when the fabrics are thin. I think fit is key, seriously extremely important, and it can make or break an outfit. Such heavy fabrics can easily drown a petite girl but if it fits well, it can be great too.

Also, let's talk about that sad tree in the background. It makes a cool backdrop for photos but I'm sad that another tree is down. Not sure why it was cut down but it has been in the park for a long time and I'm gonna miss it.
