pastels for work

Tee (M) | Zara
Trousers (UK2) | ASOS Petite
Blazer (EU32) | H&M
Shoes | Mango
Bag | Bally

Pastels for work strikes again! When I am in a mood for pastels, I really go all out. The same pair of trousers in black is one of my all time fav work pants, but these pink ones seldom get to leave the house ever, sadly. It would look amazing with a pair of sneakers and oversized chunky knit too!

pastels | textures

big-eye filter on yueli's phone. any bigger my eyes would be creepy.

Jacket | Korea
Cami (XS) | Zara
Skirt (9-10y/o) | Zara Girls
Shoes | Kurt Geiger
Bag | Bally

This jacket. AHH. Found it in an outlet mall when I was in Paju (Korea) with my mum last spring at a really nice shop - I had such a difficult time choosing between 3 jackets. I'd have gotten all 3 if not for having purchased a leather vest from Maje earlier that day, which obviously was a lot of money despite being on 50% off. So I decided to go with this one, which was the most lightweight one out of the 3 (hence most practical for SG, finally thinking straight while shopping), and it looked amazing with the all black outfit I had on that day. This time for an event, I went all pastel with it with  my fav cami and pleat skirt. Love the slight oversize fit too (which is basically 90% of my jackets because I can't find jackets tiny enough to fit me and I just like oversized outerwear in general)!

This Palette

Trousers (UK2) | ASOS Petite
Shirt (XXS) & jacket (XS) | Zara (similar here)
Shoes | Bally
Bag | Balenciaga
Sunglasses | Super Sunglasses
Necklace | Taipei

Love wear muted/dusky colours when I am not wearing black. These pants fit me soooooo freaking well!! I have it in black too and I wear them to work all the time (obviously the black one more, because it's more versatile and well, it's black!). I hope they have it in more colours like burgundy/khaki/grey/navy/pinstripes etc so I can get them all. I literally didn't need a single alteration for these pants and it's just amazing. These heels have such white leather I get scared to wear them out sometimes! (Maybe that's why I love wearing black so much... though I'm sure that's not the only reason haha)

Fold & Flow

Top | Mango (XS)
Trousers | Zara Girls (9-10 years old) (similar here)
Jacket | (XS) Motivi via Robinsons
Bag | Balenciaga
Heels | Charles & Keith (similar here and here)

These heels were the saviour of my feet some time back on the day I got it. It's in a great shade of beige and  matches my feet well. Slightly bummed that it wasn't genuine leather but then again, Charles & Keith seldom makes shoes in genuine leather anyway and I knew that upon stepping into the store. I finally have a classic beige pair of pointed pumps to match all my pastel apparel, yaye!

Love the simplicity of this sleeveless crepe blouse with just one (rather) huge fold down the front, adding some interest to an otherwise plain, white blouse (also styled here!). Kept the softness in fabric going with one of the first pair of trousers I ever owned (and probably the most easily creased too). This Zara Girls trousers is appropriately baggy (thank god for the adjustable waist) cropped on me. Check out how else I styled it in this post! Added an edge with a tweed jacket I got 4-5 years ago. I didn't mean for it to be oversized but it wasn't available in any smaller sizes so I just went with it. Love the draped lapels and pockets!
