I've always been a fan of slip dresses (to wear out) and especially one of my favourite way of styling it is with a longline jacket. Love the navy textured body of this dress and the lace trim, which has the perfect amount of peekaboo slip. I doubt anyone taller than me can wear this as a dress though, if the it were any shorter I wouldn't be able to pass it off as a going out dress either! Zara makes the best slips, seriously! Most of my favourite slip dresses are from Zara, and they are more affordable than many others out there (without looking too cheap too!). This checkered slip dress is one of them -it's actually the first slip dress I've ever bought and I am loving it loads even now. Just the kind of style I like going for on date nights out!

Casual dinner with my family one night where we had really good chinese food, and fun times guessing if the spectacles of one of the waiters had real prescription. Went with my fav casual weekend outfit - cotton tee and ripped jeans. I love how the chunky ribs on the cardigan looks kind of like vertical stripes against the (horizontal) striped tee. I rarely shop for cardigans since a couple of years ago and I forgot how much I like them, especially the oversized ones. Was choosing between M and L and went with a size M in the end; I love the fit!

We all know I'm a huge fan of jackets. Imagine my excitement when I found this the BR Petite section. The biker cut is not often seen on a cardigan and that itself is already a win for me. Leather gets me every time and the suede panels on this jacket gives the classic cardigan so much edge. Double win! I seldom go for beige-ish colours but this one had a grey undertone and surprisingly goes well with so many items in my closet. I reallllyyyyy hope Singapore's BR carries the Petite range. Can't wait for my next UK trip to check out their store again!

Knit Bomber

This jacket, I don't even know what I should call it, but it's gorgeous. It's made of a semi-thick partially wool cardigan material (I'll admit, that's sort of overly warm for Singapore's weather but it doesn't matter, my office is freezing) The fit of it is like a cardigan but has the shape of a bomber jacket with the round collar and ribbed edges. It has super cool leather panels on the sleeves - you guys know I love all things leather-ish! The sleeves of this jacket is wayyyy too long for my short arms but I bet it'll be a plus point in winter haha. Oh and, it has pockets too! I love all black pieces like this that can be worn with literally anything and everything, is of good quality and has subtle details.

I'm also loving wearing rings recently. With the popularity of midi rings (I hope this trend never goes away), I can finally find rings my size. My mum and I have super slim fingers and finding rings that fit us is seriously a pain in the butt. Midi rings, however, fit my fingers perfectly. I have been loving a local Singaporean online label tessellate co for their sterling silver rings (which comes in sizes small enough for me!!) ever since I chanced upon their stall at a Public Garden flea a few weeks back. (None of the rings I'm wearing in this post are from them but I will definitely be sharing the gorgeous pieces I got from them soon in another post!)

Side note, the top featured in the last photo is from COS (worn by my mum) and I love how the colours of it resonate (somewhat) with my handbag. I've been having so much use out of this bag since I got it in Summer 2013. It's worth every penny (imo).
