Swing Swing

Swing dress | ASOS (similar here and here)
Outerwear | Thrifted
Boots | Zara
Bag | Bally
Plectrum necklace | Agnès B.
Key + wing necklace | Religion Clothing UK
Hat | H&M
Grey studded leather bracelet | Balenciaga

This swing top and double breasted coat goes so well together, no? I love wearing dusty pink and grey together and this day, I went with a super swingy silhouette that's simple and chic. The dress is made of a non sheer stretch jersey material and I think ASOS does pieces in this fabric so well! I have several dresses in this stretch material and they are my definite go-to dresses when I'm too lazy/late to think of a top & bottom combination (though I love separates more than dresses for casual/day looks, to be honest). Kept the look simple with all black accessories and I am loving how my trusty H&M wool hat always manages to pull the outfit together and add so much edge and attitude to the entire look.

Since it's a really plain dress (it's literally just grey jersey swingin' all around), I layered my necklaces  - my fav dino plectrum necklace which was a birthday gift from Ian and also a double key + angel wing necklace from one of my favourite UK brands Religion. After wearing the religion necklace as it is for a few years, I just decided to separate the 2 pendents and attach different chains to each of them so I have the option of wearing them together or apart, depending on the outfit. I used to DIY a lot of my accessories, I even have metres of necklace/bracelet chains at home!
