long and short

Long hooded lightweight shirt (S) & boots | Zara
Tank top (UK4) | Topshop
Denim skirt | Old Navy kids
Bag | Mulberry
Belt | CK
Necklace | Agnès b.

Have always loved wearing a longer outerwear with a mini length dress/skirt but recently, the outerwear lengths have gotten even longer! This Zara shirt was a sale find last year. I was mainly drawn by the hood (yeah, I'm a sucker for hoods) and the fabric is sooo comfy. I doubt it was meant to look this long on someone but well, I'm really short so there's nothing much I can do about it! I am already thinking of chopping a few inches off it so that it would end above my knee - I do that to sooo many of my dresses/jackets!

the silk shirt | casual edit.

Silk shirt | Calvin Klein
Jeans | Korea
Bag | Balenciaga
Shoes | Zara
Watch | Nixon

So earlier this year, I shared a look based on this silk shirt too here - totally work appropriate. This time, I styled it way more casually and it just shows how versatile this shirt is! I seldom buy items which I can't dress it both up/down, and one thing I always consider before purchasing something is if I can style it ini at least 3 different looks (preferably different vibes too) - which is why I seldom invest in dresses, because really, most of them can only be worn in one specific style - with either a change of bag/shoes. It's great for those lazy/shitiwokeuplate days though!

This look is really simple on it's own, with some simple accessories. I believe the greatness of this shirt speaks for itself!

workwear | silk

Silk shirt (XS) | Calvin Klein
Trousers (UK2) | ASOS Petite
Shoes | Aldo

Another super easy and comfy look for work! This silk shirt and viscose trousers are seriously the best. Also, these slingback heels are really comfy to stand in but so not comfy to walk in. The block heel is too chunky! Or maybe I just haven't mastered the art of walking in chunky heels yet....

old stuff

Jacket (XS) | Pull & Bear
Black top (XS) | Uniqlo X Carine Roitfeld
Belt | Calvin Klein
Linen skirt (UK2) | ASOS Petite
Shoes | Everbest

Everytime I put this skirt on, it just reminds me of how much I like wearing skirts with pockets. If only I could find more skirts like this one that fits me!
I know the Carine Roitfeld and Uniqlo collaboration is old news, but truth is, when I buy something new, I don't usually like wearing it straight away (especially if I got it in the sales) and I usually just leave it lying around my room for a couple of weeks/months before wearing it. Unfortunately, that also means that by the time I style and share these items on this space, they would most likely not be in stock anymore. I know that sucks... but that's just my purchasing-stylng cycle! That said, I'm usually never into trends so the items I have are mostly non-trend / season specific, which also means there will most l likely always be something similar in the market.
Now on to this tee proper - it's really simple, actually. Basically, it's just a plain black long sleeved tee. BUT the fabric feels absolutely divine. It's the only plain black non oversized long sleeved tee in my enormous wardrobe - there we have it - quality over quantity!
