black white grey

Tank top (XS) | DKNY Jeans
Jeans (EU34) & boots | Zara
Leather jacket (11-12 y/o) | Mango Boys
Necklaces | Agnès B.
Lace bralet | Topshop
Watch | Emporio Armani

Seriously love this bomber jacket! Really wished I found it in one size bigger, but this still fits (almost) the way I wanted it to, so that's not too bad. My bomber jacket collection has been growing rapidly; I've always had a thing for bomber jackets but there used to not be too many designs available in store before the recent bomber jacket popularity spike. With so many more options available now, I have came across a few bomber jacket designs that I really liked, and also (obviously) welcomed more classic ones in various colours into my wardrobe!

Night Out

Cami top (XS) | Mango (more lovely ivory cami options here, here and here!)
Jeans (34) | Zara
Leather jacket (11-12 years old) | Mango Kids
Heels | Nine West
Clutch | DVF

Went out for dinner and drinks w one of my best gfs and couldn't wait to wear my new favourite heels out. It's one of my staple work heels now because it is extremely walkable (and runnable). Not too high, pointed and sling backed, there's nothing much I can complain about - except the noise it makes when I walk sometimes (because of the slingback) but I can def look over that!

This pair of heels have rekindled my love for Nine West. I mean, I have always been a fan of their shoes but have never gotten a new pair from them for the past 3 years. This just reminds me of my first pair of heels (from Nine West too) and how well their shoes fit me.

This cami top (I'm sure you have all seen it before on this space) is also one of the tops which i love - both for work and the weekends. It's soooo comfy and versatile - check out how else I styled it here!

Going Green

Top (UK6) & skirt (UK4) | Topshop
Boots | Zara
Leather jacket (11-12 Years old) | Mango Kids

I have been opting for slightly higher hemlines recently, especially every since I started working last year. Don't get me wrong, I still love all my miniskirts and dresses; but I now feel like I can work a longer length skirt too if the fit and cutting is right. Personally, high waisted options always work way better for me. This Topshop skirt was originally longer and I had it altered a couple of inches shorter. It's from the Moto collection and I thought the mixed textures were too cool to pass!

Also, can I just say that this cropped cami top is one of my favourite basics from Topshop ever?! I have it several colours and wished I got more. It's super well made; the fabric quality is really good and thick. It's a pity that the v-neck is slightly too low for me to wear it to work.

Basic Dress Up

Basic jersey dress (UK4) | ASOS
Leather jacket (11-12 years old) | Mango Kids
Heels | Zara
Bag | Bally

Wore this outfit last summer for my friend's birthday dinner after work on Friday night. This basic tank jersey dress is so easy to style and looks great dressed up/down. As you all might have noticed, I really like pairing an all black outfit with a pop of red! If Ian and I were to go on a vday dinner date, I would definitely wear an outfit like that - simple, figure flattering and is suitable for almost any venue (great especially if your other half planned a surprise and you're not quite sure where exactly you're going to dine at beforehand).

Happy valentines day!

Black & White Sporty Vibes

White long sleeved top | Mango
Genuine leather jacket | Mango Kids (sold out; faux leather new season leather biker here)
Pants | ASOS Petite
Watch | Nixon
Sneakers | G-Star Raw
Sunglasses | Zara

This is a look I'll definitely want to wear to work but I can't (no sneakers in the office unless there's a medical condition involved) so I switched the sneakers to a pair of heels for work. This pair of trousers is my absolute favourite. I have it in brown and maroon too and I think I'll definitely want to get another black pair if it goes on sale! It's super comfortable and has pockets!! I also have another very similar pair in navy and it is of ankle grazer length but sadly the pockets on it were faux :/ Ohwell, the fit is still really great and I'm so thankful that ASOS Petite makes UK2 now because it fits me so much better. The trousers and jeans now fit me well and some skirts do too (some skirts and shorts are still too loose).

Love the layers in this top as well as the v-neckline. I have been contemplating having it altered into a short sleeved top instead so I can layer it with more jackets. We shall see if that really happens! It's a really easy throw on blouse for work and matches all my trousers well.
