Simplest of them all

Tee | COS
Ridley jeans (ripped by me) | ASOS Petite (non petite here, petite here and petite ripped here)
Bag | Balenciaga
Shoes | Topshop
Watch | Mauboussin

Here's a ridiculously simply outfit I wore to visit my grandma one day! I wear outfits like this one almost every weekend (when there's nothing much going on), or any other casual day. I am obsessed with COS' tees (both women & men's) - they are insanely soft and comfy!

Happy Birthday Singapore!

Modal tee (M) | Zara
Ridley Jeans (W24 L29 short) | ASOS Petite
Bag | Saint Laurent
Shoes | Aldo
Belt | Calvin Klein
Watch | Mauboussin
V necklace | ShopClementine

I never fail to inject white and red in my outfit on National Day! I am watching the National Day Parade live on TV as I prepare this post. Brings me back to when my friends and I performed in the NDP 10 years ago (in Secondary 2)!

On to the outfit, I kept things simple and casual with just tee and jeans. Not just any jeans, but one of my new favourite! I have always liked ASOS Petite's Ridley jeans and it's the only style of jeans from ASOS I wear. This time, in a really dark blue shade. I love my black pairs and have been wearing it to death (I have two black pairs, one ripped and one plain!). Just when I felt that I was missing an extremely dark blue pair in my life, I stumbled upon this one on ASOS and ordered it right away. I used to order my Ridley jeans in UK2 when ASOS still used that sizing for jeans. Ever since they changed the sizing to W and L, I found W23 too tight on me (maybe it's because I put on some weight... but my old UK2 pairs still fit v.well!) so I went with W24 and this pair fits perfectly!

Paired the jeans with my new fav white tee - a modal blend tee from Zara. Love it so much that I got it in grey too. It's insanely comfy and can be worn with almost everything! Will definitely be wearing this to work with trousers and a blazer! Also featured in this post is my CK belt, which was also featured in my previous post - just shows how much I love it!

Happy National Day!

NOX '15 | Dine in the Dark

Dress | ASOS
Coat | Gingersnaps
Heels | Aldo
Watch | Mauboussin

In 2015, we had our anniversary dinner at a restaurant called NOX. It has a Dine-in-the-Dark concept and Ian was pretty intrigued by it so we decided to give it a go. The service was great (servers were all visually impaired and they were really great and helpful) and the food & cocktails were amazing too (the chefs aren't blind, in case anyone was wondering). The waiting/post dinner hangout lounge was really comfortable and cosy, we had a great time chatting with another european couple after the dinner. We were led up to the second floor (where the dining area is) by our servers and it was literally pitch dark up there. I couldn't even see my own hands. The food was really yummy and I loved everything. I was pretty nervous in the beginning and Ian kept holding my hands under the table. I was glad we gave dining in the dark a go because it was such a unique experience and we both enjoyed the night a whole lot!

The only disappointing part was.... well I wore an amazing dress but was in the dark more than half the time lol. Had this dress for 1-2 years now and never had the chance to wear it till this day. I don't usually wear lacey dresses much as they can be too girly for my liking but this one feels a lot more elegant and feminine than cutesy and girly, which I really like. I love the bustier seams (great for going braless) and the laced shoulders. And well, dining in the dark always calls for a black dress. I didn't want to walk out the restaurant with visible food stains all over!

Greyscale Landscape

Dress | Motel (XS, sold out) (this print is amazing too, and check out this higher neck one!)
Longline lightweight cardigan | ASOS (UK4) (similar here)
Boots | Hugo Boss
Bag | Chanel
Watch | Mauboussin
Leather bracelets | Longchamp & Agnès b.

Love Motel's printed dresses!! The cutting of this dress (I believe it's called the Motel Zena dress) is super flattering too and it is perfect for dressing down with sneakers or dressing up with heels. I punked up the look with accessories and my one and only (so far) long lightweight cardigan. I love the juxtaposition of a longer length outerwear and a short hemline on the inside. As usual, tons of black leather, which I love, and that makes the whole outfit a lot more 'me'!
