Loungewear \ Pyjamas

Tee | Topshop Petite
Joggers | New Look Petite (sold out), (check out the normal range trousers or cropped trousers which would work well for petite ladies too)
Hooded jacket | Gmarket
Bag | Balenciaga
Sandals | Tangs Studio
Triangle ring | ASOS
Sunglasses | DVF
Watch & necklace | Agnès B.

This outfit feels like I've worn my loungewear out. It's super comfy and casual, yet there's something sporty and chic about it the same time. The silhouette is very relaxed, all thanks to my favourite lightweight joggers which fit me perfectly because I stumbled upon them in the Petite section. It's probably my first purchase from New Look if I didn't remember wrongly! I didn't use to shop New Look until I was bored at Suntec City Mall a around 2 years ago and decided to pop into New Look because they were having a sale. And then I found them. The perfect super soft 100& viscose joggers from Petite range. Since then, I made it a point to visit New Look whenever I'm in the UK. I love the 9-15 Generation collection as well.

Threw on this super lightweight grey hooded jacket I bought around 5-6 years ago when I still had the time and energy to shop on Gmarket (it is so darn confusing to shop on there back then, I'm not sure if it's still the same way now). It was realllyyyy affordable (less than £10) and I remember contemplating if I should get it in an array of colours, but I didn't haha. Added some minimal rings and sandals to the outfit and there we have it - a perfect look for casual brunch!

White Shirt & Blue Denim

Shirt | Calvin Klein Jeans (more longline shirts here and here!)
Shorts | ASOS (similar here)
Sandals | Tangs Studio
Necklace & watch | Agnès B.

This combination of a white shirt and blue denim never gets old! They are the perfect mix of dressy and casual which I love and the outfit can be dressed up/down with different accessories. I wore this look for a casual lunch in my neighbourhood with my family. Change up the flat sandals to heeled sandals and the bag to a leather clutch and it would be a great weekend shopping outfit in town with friends.

Also, my favourite Canadian artiste Cœur de Pirate has just released a new album Roses and as usual, I love so many songs in her album and I can play it on repeat non stop. Wished there were more french songs in it though! (Listening to french songs is my favourite way of learning french!)

National Day 2014

Pleather skirt | Love, Bonito
The One Vest | ASOS Petite
Bag | Tangs Studio
Heels | Kurt Geiger
Bracelet | By Invite Only
Squirrel necklace | Taipei
Star & moon necklace | Fié Japan

Shot these photos on national day in 2014, and never gotten around to posting them - I don't know why. And I don't know why I did that face in the last photo either.

But one thing I do know is that this pleather skirt fits me so well (I bought it in xs) that I ordered the exact same one in black too. Wanted navy as well but it was sold out ohwell.
As I mentioned, it was national day when I wore this outfit and I tried to incorporated as many local labels (Sg pride!) in my outfit as possible, so here we have it - skirt, bag and bracelet!
I'm a huge fan of By Invite Only's accessories and this bracelet is the first ever item I purchased from them years ago. It's double layered and looks as though I'm wearing 2 bracelets when I'm just wearing one. Great for layering and wearing it on its own and I absolutely love it. (They don't sell it anymore though.)
Finding this bag at Tangs was such a pleasant surprise. Pony hair and leather, a combination I really like. I had a hard time choosing between this colour and full black. In the end, I went with this one because I thought that a full black pony hair x leather bag is slightly easier to come by. Best of all, it was really well made and affordable (50% off)! It doesn't look big at all but it is really roomy. I can fit my mini instax camera in it alongside other necessities (phone, lipstick etc).

The Perfect Duster Coat

V-neck tee & shoes | Zara
Duster coat | New Look Petite
Denim shorts | ASOS Petite
Hat | H&M
Bag | Tangs Studio

This duster coat will be appearing on this space a lot - brace yourself haha. I've been reaching for it so often because it goes with everything. Literally. I've worn it with dresses, jeans, skirts, and now shorts! It's super lightweight -  perfect for Sg's weather, and it's seriously the best fitted coat I have. The sleeves are appropriately slim and is the perfect length for my short and slim arms. I'd have gotten it in all colours if I could.

Zara makes the best basic tees and this red one (I've had it for years) is of great quality and is holding up really well. I love it that it has a v-neck and is supppperrrr soft - something I always look for in tees.

ROAD TRIP | MALAYSIA - MELAKA JONKER STREET | AUGUST 2015

My dad insisted on taking a shot of us because he thought we looked cool haha.

Shirt | Calvin Klein Jeans
Sandals | Tangs Studio
Sunglasses | Zara

It was sooooo freaking warm in Malacca Jonker Street that afternoon. Reached around 2 pm and we explored around for a bit. Had amazing taro pastries from a roadside stall. Read online that it was a really hip and cool place but when we reached it was horrible and touristy as hell. Then, we found those magical alleys which appeared to be empty but there were tons of street art along it and I was just so happy to have roamed around.

Had dinner at one of my dad's fav little eatery in Malacca around the area and it was pretty good. Look at that freaking long queue! We were at the front of the queue HAHA. Thankfully. The kueh pie tee was sooooo good. Love it!! Many people ordered it to takeaway. I regret not trying the popiah, I think it'll be really good too. The fish was not bad too but the rest I tried were not that awesome. I had a peep inside their kitchen and there was a Singapore flag hung in it?! That's pretty cool haha. As I was walking in, I heard others walking out saying 'nice meh? I think so so only leh' haha.

Left Malacca after just a few hours before the sun set and we drove to JPO for some long awaited retail therapy. It was awesome. Got 2 great purchases and I can't be happier about them. One of them was a wool coat, which I can't wait to wear on my travels soon and another was an amaaaazing belt which actually was small enough for my waist!

Check out the rest of my Malaysia road trip photo diary here (part 1) and here (part 2)!
