I'm so happy the way these photos turned out the way they did! It was intensely sunny the day my mum shot these photos for me and although you may not be able to see it in these photos, I was sweating so much LOL. These photos haven't been edited at all and the lighting is exactly how I wanted it to be! Guess the strong sun beams really helped haha. That said, I don't usually edit majority of the rest of my photos either except to brighten them or filter them black & white / have a toy camera kind of effect. My free photoshop trial ended a few months back and I have no plans of actually purchasing it since I figured I don't really need it anyway for now. Plus, I very much prefer my raw photos.

Oh also, there were several bees flying around the flowers and believe me, I was squealing every few seconds and that resulted in MANY candid shots (not featured here haha).

Celebrated my brother's birthday on Sunday at Sin Lee Foods and I'm glad everyone loved the food! Had lunch there with my bunch of favourite people a few months back and I have been dying to bring  my family. The Aburi broccoli salad and Beef & grains (amazing beef with orzo) were so bloody good as always and this time, I managed to try some desserts too. We had the Smores waffle and Earl grey tiramisu, which were both amazing as well! The service was good even when I arrived 20 mins late oops! And they provided one candle for my brother's birthday - that was really kind of them. It was quite an impromptu decision to put a candle on the waffle but we didn't have the chance to buy a cake that morning.

Now on to the outfit! I am usually dressed extremely casual on Sundays and (almost) strictly no heels but I really wanted to break in this pair of amazing suede slingbacks from Mango which I spotted on Zalora a few months back. My mum and I had matching shoes on Sunday too! Almost the exact same shade of grey suede haha (Mum's ballet flats | Bally; knit top | Topshop). I foresee it being one of my go-to work heels because the height is super walkable/runable and that gorgeous colour can match almost everything in my wardrobe. Also, slingbacks are super comfortable (to me)! I am really tempted to get the same pair in Navy Suede too but as I was contemplating.... my size sold out. Ohwell, I guess that's fate (or the lack of fate lol).

Kept the rest of my outfit super basic and casual with a white tee (soooo soft, I need it in more colours) and ripped jeans. The v-bar necklace was a gift from Ian and well.... as you can see, I have linked it in the description above - because I googled the name on the jewellery box I received the necklace in haha. The shop is amazing! I love how the necklace chain goes though the v-bar. The necklace is simple yet striking and so well (hand)made, it looks great on its on or layered. The other plectrum necklace I was wearing is from an accessories shop in Brighton and I got it to match the pair of cufflinks I got for Ian for Christmas last year. Brace yourself, it is highly likely that these necklaces will appear on this space loads!

THIS. Is the perfect beige leather jacket for me. It's been so difficult to find a beige toned leather jacket in a nice shade of beige that suits me. This particular one has a hint of pink/blush and is less 'brownish' than many other I have seen previously. AND IT HAS THE PERFECT SLEEVE LENGTH (for me). I was over the moon when I tried it on. And I knew I had to have it. The sleeves weren't too long for once and it was just perfect. I love the biker style (as always) especially when it has a band / belt at the hem, and this particular design has it too. And. It was the last piece in my size. And on 20% off. So yeah. I guess it's fate :)

Austria | Vienna | Day 1

My mum and I took a train from Salzburg to Vienna and spent our first day there just walking around the city. It was horribly gloomy and windy that day. We had rice for lunch that tasted a whole lot like chicken rice in Singapore and my mum loved it haha. The grand looking cathedral was super gorgeous and was right in the middle of the main shopping district but sadly it was under renovation/reconstruction when we were there. Many other beautiful sculptures/architecture were covered in this net-like thing, which I guess is used to prevent any parts of the sculptures from falling off and hitting people/kids picking on the precious statue. Looks really hideous in photos though, ohwell. The shops in Austria are really pretty on the outside, kind of just makes people want to walk in and shop LOL.

Bought this Mango Kids jacket in Salzburg and it fits me perfectly. The sleeves aren't too long and the shoulders fit really well. I thought twice before getting it though, because of the colour. it's pretty bright, more like a purple-ish hue rather than the usual burgundy.
